Privacy Policy

Voidwire stores the following data tied to your account:

Account identity: email address and authentication credentials (passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text).

Profile inputs: birth date, birth time, birth location, and preferred house system -- used to compute your natal chart.

Reading preferences: detail level, focus topics, and tone settings you configure to personalize your readings.

Generated content: daily and weekly personalized readings, birth chart interpretations, and transit analyses produced for your account.

Social data: your chosen handle, display name, optional avatar and phone number, connection requests, blocks, relationship labels, compatibility visibility, and sharing choices. Contact discovery addresses are transmitted only when you choose Discover; the server HMAC-hashes them before matching and does not persist the plaintext contact list.

Subscription and billing: subscription status, tier, and payment state managed through Stripe or Apple. Voidwire does not store credit card numbers or payment details directly.

Session and delivery data: authentication sessions, registered push tokens, notification delivery state, and Live Activity registration needed to operate signed-in features.

App diagnostics: Apple MetricKit crash, hang, launch, memory, CPU, disk, and animation reports from iOS and iPadOS. Voidwire stores these without an account id, device token, installation id, request body, URL, log message, chart, reading, or location.

Your data is used to:

Authenticate your identity and maintain session security.

Compute your natal chart from the profile inputs you provide.

Generate personalized readings using your natal chart, current planetary transits, and your reading preferences (detail level, focus topics, tone).

Process subscription billing through Stripe.

Operate Social features you choose to use, including friend discovery, connection privacy, public profiles, and compatibility views.

Operate internal analytics for service reliability and content quality.

Your data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Third-party services used are limited to Apple and Stripe for purchases, Apple for platform delivery and diagnostics, and infrastructure providers necessary to operate the platform.

Reading history is retained for as long as your account is active. Expired authentication tokens and aged session data are periodically cleaned up. Anonymous mobile diagnostic payloads are retained for no more than 30 days. If you delete your account, all associated data -- profile, readings, preferences, and session records -- is permanently removed.

You can update or clear your reading preferences at any time through the dashboard. You can request a full data export, revoke active sessions, or delete your account through your account settings. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
